Terms of service

The service drivingtest.se (https://www.drivingtest.se) is provided by PENDING (set before launch), organisation number PENDING, PENDING (set before launch). You can reach us at support@drivingtest.se.

We are an independent practice service. We are not connected to Trafikverket, Transportstyrelsen, any driving school or any other authority.

drivingtest.se helps you prepare for the Swedish theory test for a B licence with practice questions, mock exams, minigames and a road sign dictionary.

The questions are our own practice questions, built on the format of the test (70 questions of which 65 count, 52 correct answers are needed to pass, and the time limit is 50 minutes). The questions on the real test can look different, so we cannot promise that you will pass, however much you practise.

The explanations refer to the rules in force so that you can learn. They are not legal advice. Rules change, so always check the current rules with Trafikverket and Transportstyrelsen.

You need an account to save your progress, play the free rounds and buy a pass. Give correct details and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens through your account, so contact us at once if you think someone else has access to it.

An account is for one person and a pass may not be shared. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, which is also the minimum age for taking the theory test. If you are under 18 you need a parent or guardian's permission to buy a pass.

You can delete your account at any time under Account. We may suspend or delete accounts that abuse the service, for example by getting around limits or payment, copying the question bank or disrupting the service.

For free you get a limited selection of practice questions, the road sign dictionary and one free round of each minigame per account.

A pass gives you the full question bank, mock exams, practice on your weak spots and all minigames for as long as the pass is valid. We sell passes that last 24 hours, 30 days or 90 days.

The price you see at checkout is the total you pay, including any VAT that applies. You pay once. It is not a subscription and the pass does not renew automatically; it ends when its time is up. If you buy a new pass while another is active, the new time is added after the old.

The pass starts as soon as the payment provider confirms the payment, normally within a few seconds.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe handles your card details and we never see them. The payment methods available are shown at checkout. Stripe's terms apply to the payment itself.

If your payment went through but you do not get access to your pass, contact us and we will fix it or refund you.

You receive a confirmation email when the purchase is complete.

As a consumer you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you buy at a distance under the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59). A special rule applies to digital content that is delivered immediately.

Our passes are digital content that becomes available right after payment. Before you pay we therefore ask you to expressly agree that the pass starts immediately and to acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once it has started. Because the pass starts right after payment, there is no right of withdrawal once the purchase is complete. We record your confirmation (time and version of these terms) and send it to you in the confirmation email.

Your other rights as a consumer are not affected. If the service does not work as promised, contact us and we will put it right or refund you as the law requires.

If you take the official theory test while your 90-day pass is valid, do not pass, and contact us within 14 days of the test with proof of the result, we extend your pass by 90 days free of charge.

The guarantee applies once per 90-day pass purchased and not to other passes. It is an extension of access, not a refund, and does not affect your statutory rights.

You may use the service to practise for your own use. You may not:

• copy, distribute, sell or otherwise make questions, explanations or graphics available to others,
• automatically collect content (scrape) or use bots to answer questions,
• get around limits, free rounds or payment, or try to get into other people's accounts,
• disrupt or overload the service in a way that affects other users.

The questions, explanations and other original content belong to PENDING (set before launch). Road signs and their names and descriptions come from the Swedish road sign regulations and belong to their respective rights holders.

We aim for the service to work at all times but cannot guarantee it. We may need to take it down for maintenance and may change or remove features.

If we close the whole service permanently while you have a valid pass, we will refund the unused part of the price.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, for example in cases of intent or gross negligence, personal injury, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Otherwise we are not liable for indirect loss, such as the cost of retaking the test, driving lessons, or not passing.

We may change these terms. We will tell you about significant changes in good time in the service or by email. For a pass you have already bought, the terms that applied when you bought it continue to apply.

Swedish law applies, without depriving you of the mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live.

If we cannot agree, you as a consumer can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN, arn.se). You can also bring a case before a court.
