Clear width

Tilläggstavlan anger vägens bredd vid ett tillfälligt hinder. Om vägen är under 5 meter bred så kan inte tunga fordon mötas, utan måste vänta på varandra. Om vägen är under 4 meter bred blir det svårt för personbilar att mötas.

The additional panel indicates the width of the road in case of a temporary obstacle. If the road is less than 5 meters wide, heavy trucks and other large vehicle cannot proceed at the same time. If the road is less than 4 metres wide, it will be difficult for private cars to proceed at the same time. Note that it if an obstacle on or next to the road makes it difficult, dangerous or impossible to proceed at the same time as another vehicle, and nothing else regulates the duty to give way, it is the driver with the obstacle on his or her side of the road that should stop and give way.
